🌿 Les engagements durables
Politique d'achat
Le resort valorise les produits locaux et les saveurs maldiviennes dans ses restaurants et transforme ses déchets alimentaires en compost via un composteur dédié. Son initiative SustainLinen donne une seconde vie aux linges de maison des villas, transformés notamment en tabliers pour les cuisines plutôt que d'être jetés.
Gestion de l'eau, de l'énergie et des déchets
Le resort a supprimé les bouteilles d'eau en plastique à usage unique, installé des panneaux solaires et mis en place la récupération des eaux de pluie ainsi qu'un composteur alimentaire. Sa certification EarthCheck mesure chaque année ses indicateurs opérationnels — énergie, émissions, eau, déchets, papier, produits chimiques et pesticides.
Intégration dans la communauté
Le Marine Lab du resort pilote la restauration des récifs coralliens et invite les hôtes à y participer, avec deux nurseries de corail sur cordes qui produisent des coraux sains après neuf mois.
