Dune
The sinuous lines and warm colours used to decorate the walls bring a contemporary and artistic touch to the austere volumes, high 19th-century ceilings and classic French doors and windows – making the Dune suite feel like a world apart. Isola is all about the large round bed, Isola is all about the Antonio Lupi bathtub at the centre of the spectacular open space, a masterpiece of art and design that embodies much of the desire to amaze that is intrinsic to Casa Clàt. The refined decor features painted murals which reflect the traditional ornamental motifs of the island. Black, sensual and romantic like a deep-sea abyss, and delicately criss-crossed by lines of depth, the Abissi Suite creates an intriguing atmosphere in which even the simplest of gestures take on new dimensions against this theatrical backdrop.
